Never before have we been so challenged to communicate with clarity and compassion, to get clear, unbiased information, and work for our shared humanity.

Counseling for men has never been more vital.

My practice combines existential-humanist and Buddhist philosophies to offer counseling for men, their partners, and families, recognizing the unique dynamics and challenges confronting men in today's society, from reshaping the definition of masculinity to challenging stigmas surrounding men's mental health. I am especially interested in working with fathers and sons in challenging circumstances and men confronting life transitions in career, marriage, and aging. Our work will be centered on personal autonomy, freedom, and choice and can take place in a traditional office, outdoors, or remotely.

I view my job as to guide people to make better choices. I believe that when we understand ourselves, we can heal ourselves. I am keen to draw boundaries where a licensed practitioner and traditional talk therapy are appropriate. I wholly respect the individual's subjective experience, invest in active listening, and minimize my own bias.
